LIZZIE the Rock Musical May 31st & June 1st Actors Community Playhouse and Theatre of Gadsden have collaborated on the rock musical, Lizzie, a stage rendering of the untold story of the most famous axe murders in American history. An all-star professional cast brings to life the events of a fateful August, retelling the sordid tale in a way that audiences have never heard. Called "A volcanic, quasi-operatic punk rock beat that captures the sense of female rage" by the Chicago Sun-Times, this enthralling work by Alan Stevens Hewitt, Steven Cheslik-DeMeyer, and Tim Maner will lure viewers into Lizzie Borden's life... and leave them questioning who the real victim was.
